Our team of engineers and designers delivered a state-of-the-art interface for the blood pressure meter. We designed a PCB with the utmost care and attention to detail, using the latest technologies and materials to ensure that it met the highest standards of safety and reliability and pass the stringent CE tests required for medical devices.

SPINNOV also worked closely with Fysicon to create a user-friendly interface that would meet the needs of medical professionals, even in the high-stress environment of the operating room.

Client & Goal

The Acist RXi is a blood pressure monitoring device used in clinical and surgical settings. It needs to perform accurately and reliably in the operating room, an environment where equipment failure or a confusing interface has direct consequences for patient safety.

The goal was to design a PCB interface that met the strict safety and electromagnetic compatibility requirements for CE certification as a medical device, while also delivering an interface that medical professionals could use confidently under pressure.

SPINNOV’s Solution

  • Designed a PCB interface for the Acist RXi blood pressure meter, engineered to meet the safety and reliability standards required for CE certification as a medical device

  • Selected materials and technologies specifically to pass the stringent CE testing process for medical devices

  • Implemented galvanic isolation to ensure electrical safety between patient-facing circuits and the rest of the system

  • Collaborated closely with Fysicon to develop a user-friendly interface suited to medical professionals working in high-stress operating room environments
