The Urban SkillCourt concept

It has been a year since the official debut of the SkillCourt in Rotterdam at Sportcomplex Olympia, a project developed in collaboration with SmartGoals Sport Technologies, W&H Sports B.V., and Sportbedrijf Rotterdam.

The SmartGoals Urban SkillCourt concept is particularly close to our hearts, as it is one of our in-house projects aimed at supporting the gamification of sports within municipalities.

The goal of SkillCourt is to encourage residents to be and stay active by making sports more fun and engaging. By incorporating elements like points, badges, leaderboards, challenges, and real-time feedback, participants are more likely to remain engaged and motivated.

Over the past year, the concept has already come to life with four permanent installations in prominent locations across Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Lichtenvoorde, and Dordrecht, each offering a unique sports experience.
