The Smart Floor is a proven measuring instrument (with CE mark) for motion analysis to reduce fall and injury risk and to detect forms of dementia in early stage.
Our team developed and implemented embedded hardware of sensors (film and wearable) that automatically derive skeletal alignment data and movement information (position, orientation, speed, acceleration) from foot-floor contact of the person in the integrated environment. This system has been designed to closely synchronize with an application to help rehabilitation projects for disabled people with foot or motor-control disorders.
